A fun Easter idea- this bunny cake. I found the recipe on Kraft Foods’ website, but modified it a bit due to my inability to find my round cake pans. I have no idea where they went! But really easy to frost with cool whip, sprinkle coconut and then decorate with licorice and jelly beans.
We made Easter cards to send to loved ones, an idea from Family Fun website. The kids dipped their thumbs in white paint and then stamped onto colored paper for the bunny head. They stamped half their thumbs for the ears.
Lastly, we did some body painting for a spring flower project. It was quite a hit! The kids dipped their forearms in green paint for stems and then the palm of their hands in various colors to represent tulips. I later had the kids write across the top--- Happy Spring and we gave to teachers at school.
