It is now not so much a burden, but a joy to commute across town for Dane’s speech therapy! Dane rides his scooter, Evy walks, and I carry Grant in the Ergo (it’s heavenly when I don’t have to bring the stroller on the train!) Downtown Brooklyn is an interesting place—particularly when you exit the subway at Jay and Borough Hall and then walk through Fulton Street to get to Court. I don’t think we’ve ever made it through without Evelyn insisting on stopping at the various vendors for something or other—last week it was $1 jewelry. Lately we’ve been stopping at City Hall to scooter around and bask in the bright sun. Without the wind blowing furiously in our faces, it's actually a nice day outing.
And this just one of the many reasons why I am very grateful to welcome spring!
