We were so lucky to have Paige and James out to visit us over spring break. It was a long trek across the country with little Esme, but at 4 months old she certainly faired well! Paige and James both served their missions with Blake in Milan, Italy back in the day. We were surprised and happy to find out that they had married and moved to Seattle when we were all newlyweds. Back then we would meet regularly for dinner and enjoy a night on the town, before kids were in the picture.
So, for this visit, we had fun re-creating the good ol’ days. We hired Brittany and Hannah and stayed out late strolling through Time Square. Blake met up with the pair to tour Little Italy one night. We walked the Brooklyn Bridge with all the kids, enjoyed strolling through Wall Street and Battery Park, DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights. It was a busy weekend! We love these guys and were so glad to have them out. Most especially to spend time with little Esme who is a very long awaited blessing!
