The idea of moving to another apartment has been very bittersweet for our family. We were excited to move into a wonderful new place at a very opportune time…if you know what I mean! But the downside~ the apartment we moved into belongs to our wonderful friends- the Remingtons. Their family has meant a lot to us this past year. Michael has been such a good friend to Evelyn- the pair have spent much time together and she will miss him so much.
And I wish that were the only loss! Michelle has been a dear friend to me as well. We were so lucky to hit it off the first week we arrived in New York. She taught me the ropes around here and I just can’t imagine Brooklyn without her! The only positive is that they are moving into a huge home in Connecticut that will house certain visitors on a frequent basis! It’s about an hour drive from Manhattan- so we will still see our friends. Nonetheless, it is sad to see them go. Good friends make life so great. THANK YOU Remingtons!
