This past week I had the chance to travel with a couple of my friends. We had such a great time!
Jill is living in London right now, so Eryn and I flew over while Jill escorted us all over the city. Eryn planned all the details and invited me along for the ride. My wonderful friend Cathy helped to watch the kids while I was away. Blake was a serious hero- taking care of the children, cleaning the apartment, doing laundry, the whole nine yards. The kids had a wonderful time with their Dad and I had a wonderful time living it up all week!
Jill is a professional photographer~ it was a dream to have her there to set up every picture. I’ll post a few of her photographs… they are amazing.
We toured the city, visited the National Gallery, Covent Gardens, Oxford Street, Harrods, Big Ben, Kensington Palace, you name it.
Next, we took a train to Paris! Our hotel was darling and the location wonderful- thanks to Eryn. We shopped the Champs Elysees, hiked to the top of the Arch De Triumph, visited the Louvre, Napoleon’s Tomb, Notre Dame, and the Eiffel Tower.
All in all, an amazing trip. I missed the kids and Blake, but felt so lucky to have the thoughtful husband and friends that I do!
