Today was awesome! We headed out to New Jersey to Jenkinson's Beach. The waves were HUGE and the kids loved it. I wish I had taken a shot of the picturesque boardwalk, amusement park and fun candy shops! We are definitely going back next summer.But I could tell the day would be great long before we hit the beach. On the way out, we shopped at Target. (I know this may seem a slight thing to most, but ask any Brooklyn-ite about our closest Target... it is seriously lacking in major ways and I rarely shop there because of it.) But this Target was heaven! I loved strolling around without feeling crowded, actually finding all of the items on my list, and then strolling these items out to our car... verses having to carry them out without a cart. Blissful. Then to top it off, we ate lunch at Baja Fresh!!! We couldn't believe our luck in finding it right next to Target. So, like I said, today was awesome. As much as I love the city, it's fun to escape every once and a while .
