Shake Shack

Well, I mentioned that New York City has long lines in my last post, so here I can illustrate my point;  last night we took the subway out to Madison Square Park with a bunch of our friends to eat at Shake Shack.  Blake and I had always wanted to try these infamous hamburgers and shakes, but the line had deterred us many times.

Since Blake was already in Manhattan, he stood in line about 30 minutes before the kids and I even arrived.  Then I stood in line another 15 or 20 minutes. Yes!  But, it was well worth it.  The hamburgers and shakes were delicious! I highly recommend the place.  We had so much fun hanging out with our friends. The kids enjoyed staying up past bedtime and playing at the park (despite the picture!)- they were good on the subway ride back to Brooklyn.

Of course, I could have put a thousand dollars on the comment Blake would make after the little excursion.  I didn’t even have to prompt it! On the subway ride back he said, “I still think In-N-Out Burgers are the best.”   The man is very loyal.  Do I know my husband well, or what?
