With Grandma in town, we took a quick trip to Pennsylvania to visit Sesame Place. It’s a cute little Sesame Street theme park about an hour and a half away. The kids had such a blast. Grandma has a special place in her heart for cookie monster and so the kids have always loved to pretend they are cookie monster- or watch Grandma pretend she is cookie monster! It’s pretty cute to watch.
I think one of the funniest parts of the day was when Blake and I took the kids into this huge rope climbing maze. It was way up high in the air and the idea was to climb through all of these knotted ropes. It was hilarious because about one minute into the experience, Dane decided he wanted out and fast. But turning back was not an option, and so poor Blake could hardly manage both he and Dane through the awkward climbing passages. Evelyn was in heaven and I clumsily followed along after her. I think I burned upwards of a 1,000 calories.
But, despite the rope maze, it was a very fun place to visit.
