There are many beautiful farms north of the city in New York. With my mom in town, we decided to go on a little road trip for some fun apple picking! We LOVED the farm we chose in Westchester. It was beautiful and the apple trees were amazing in that the kids could actually pick the apples without even having to be lifted on our shoulders (many of the branches were low to the ground.) The apples were delicious. Of course there were pumpkin patches, tractor rides, apple cider donuts and the like. We were excited to leave with a big bag of apples for cooking up some treats later in the week!
