Colby Jace Bachman was born yesterday to our dear friends Cathy and Michael. Now that her pregnancy is over, I can truthfully say that Cathy was about the most mellow, patient, and easy going pregnant lady I’ve EVER met. She didn’t complain hardly at all.
It was actually scaring me .
J And now Colby is finally here and we are all so excited! All of the kids (both hers and mine) have talked non-stop about this upcoming event.
Evelyn is just plain mad that I don’t have a baby girl inside of my belly.
“Not fair” she insists!
There’s plenty of time for that, I tell her.
Tonight was amazing- to see this little baby and to hold him.
He was adorable- and it helped me feel better about not having the chance to hold my little niece as of yet. Babies are so precious.
When I walked in the door after my trip to the hospital, - Evelyn asked, “mom, was he cute?”
I showed her these pictures- and she was thrilled.
