We had a wonderful day. The weather wasn’t as cold as it had been earlier in the week and so Blake took the kids out back in the morning. Dane was in heaven- just riding his bike and running around with his dad. We celebrated the day with our wonderful neighbors. They have two darling little boys- and Evelyn and Dane adore their family.
Blake took charge of the turkey and did a great job. Evy discovered that she is a big fan of deviled eggs. Dane didn’t touch a stitch of his food- frustrating his parents greatly. And as for me, I felt very peaceful—taking in the day with much gratitude for family, friends and all of the blessings that we enjoy.
