I must make a confession-- I'm currently obsessed with photoshop. I adore my class. My teacher is amazing and he has taught me so many basic fundamentals of the program. Knowing the underlying workings of photoshop has helped me to browse the internet and discover the secrets behind many interesting and beautiful images I see. It's taking up too much of my life- but I love it! I think my favorite part is knowing that even images that appear to have little potential can turn out beautiful with some creativity and tweaking. The forest of trees is one example. This image straight out of camera, was under-exposed, and the colors were drab. But I actually think it looks kind of cool now.
I love the colors and definition that photoshop adds. Blogger.com doesn't display the colors the way I like- but you get the idea. Anyway, it really is a great program and I tell you- it is very addictive!
