Evelyn asked for a Fancy Nancy birthday party this year. And because Evy and her little friend Brooklyn have birthdays so close- they decided to share a party. It was very fun for the girls.
All decorations were dark purple- Evy’s new favorite color. All except for the darling yellow billy ball flowers- which we sent home with guests in their party bags. Evelyn was so excited to have her great friends in attendance. Even Michael came—all the way from Connecticut (thanks Michelle!)
Brooklyn’s mom made a beautiful purple cake. She also made Evelyn and Brooklyn the most amazing purple tutus with matching boas. It was so cute.. wish I’d captured a picture of both of them—but alas, I was quite busy. We played Fancy Bingo (home-made by Grandma) and decorated crowns, danced and ate coconut popcorn, among other things.
Birthday parties in Brooklyn are challenging- as everyone lives in small apartments. But this party went over well. At least, that’s what the birthday girl told me!
