Valentine Tree of Love

Our Christmas Good Deeds tree was such a success with Evy and Dane during the holidays, that I decided to do a Valentine Tree to reward loving and kind acts around the homestead.  I found a bunch of pre-made paper hearts at our local art store- and then just painted a plain tree on butcher paper.  The kids are excited to put a heart on the tree each time they do something that shows love or kindness.  It's been fun.  Yes--- I'm beginning the Valentine's festivities in the month of January.  I'm kind of a holiday fanatic- and I love Valentine's day.  I enjoy V-day far too much to celebrate only the first two weeks of February!  We start celebrating mid-January and it helps us to make this bleak month more fun.

Also pictured-  a few cute cards Evelyn made last night.  She loves to stamp, and so I give her all of my shape stamps and she takes it from there.
