Evy attended the theatre for the first time last week with my Mom and I. We saw Wizard of Oz at the Children’s Theatre in Seattle, and it was such a fun evening. Evy could hardly believe that their were actual “real characters,” to use her words.
Dorothy was her favorite and she was very eager to meet her after the play. I was proud of Evelyn for sitting still in her seat and for behaving well, despite the postponed bedtime. And since that evening, Evy has pretended that every ottoman, chair, or table she sees is a “stage” for her to perform upon.
