Grandma's Mixed Mania Party

Another highlight for June that deserves its own post was our super fun Mixed Mania party at Grandma and Grandpa's house last week!  It's so fun to celebrate the end of school with a big party and we've been doing it for the past few years so it is our little tradition at this point.  We love Grandma's creativity and all of the small details she works into each party that is always themed and full of surprises.  This year was no different.

We started the day with foot golf and were excited that Troy, Catie and Stacy could be there as well!  We then went back to the house for swimming and dinner and enjoyed a very mixed up  presentation of every decoration for every holiday placed all throughout the house.  Dinner was completely mixed up!  The menu items were coded and the kids were thrilled to choose a few numbered items not having any clue what they in actuality had really ordered!  Nancy had a code in the kitchen for the "servers," ie: Catie, Stacy, Grandma and I. The kids loved their meal and all of the wacky surprises that came along with each course.  We are so lucky to have these fun traditions that the kids look forward to each year. Grandma sure knows how to throw a party!!!!  So grateful for the fun time we had on this special day.
