The Little Mermaid

What an amazing few months for Evelyn!  It was her dream come true to be cast as Ariel in The Little Mermaid and the show did not disappoint in the slightest.  Ev was able to fly, sing, dance, mime!  The whole nine yards.  And she did a wonderful job.  We were beyond proud of the hard work she put into this play.  And so grateful for the experiences she's had for the past three years participating in The Classical Academy's musical theatre.  Mrs. Grimes (director), Kara Howard (voice coach), Deb Heyers (assistant director) they have helped Evelyn to become a true professional!  We have loved every minute!  Though Beauty and the Beast overall was more of a challenge for Evelyn, this play also had it's moments!  A few very high musical rifts and the late night rehearsals learning to fly through the air- were both challenges Evelyn worried over.  But she pushed through and now we have these amazing memories to show.  Of course I helped with star grams again and had a great time with my friends crafting and creating a fun lobby booth.  I appreciated Grandma's help!  With putting together candy bouquets and with taking care of children all week! So grateful for her willingness to be a part of our lives.  Blake and the kids, Grandma and Grandpa, Stacy and all of our friends came out to see the show and loved it.  Ev felt so supported and happy!  It was an awesome awesome week.
