For New Year's we made the annual trek out to Tucson to visit the Rustands. It was a wonderful few days, the highlight for certain being our visit up to Mt. Lemon to sled and play in the snow! SO MUCH FUN. Really! The kids loved it and the whole experience made us super excited for the trip we are planning up to Brianhead to take the kids skiing next month. So exciting.
But we had a wonderful time catching up with the Rustands, eating yummy food, running all over the ranch, organizing for the New Year's Eve party. Evelyn went with the girls to the New Year's Eve dance at church and had a fun time. We partied hard at home with the annual white elephant gift exchange and the saranwrap ball. We also played minute to win it on teams and the kids had a blast. So much fun. Love that we have these amazing friends who are willing to put up with us every year RIGHT after the chaos of Christmas! Ha!
