A few weeks ago we met up with our wonderful BYU friends near
Blythe, CA to stay at the Brewster’s vacation home on the Colorado River…and
boy, was it ever fun! Our kids
loved every moment on the river….tubing, wake boarding, swimming, and just
cruising along in the boat. It
brought back so many fun memories for me.
Our family owned a boat during my teenage years and we spent many a
Saturday and summer vacation out on the lake engaging in these types of water
sports. Of course, the kids were
also thrilled to have so many little friends to play with at the house. And Blake and I enjoyed so much
reuniting with our old friends. Laughing and joking, despite the chaos of
eleven kids, two of them newborns, and then two pregnant ladies all under one
roof! It was such a great time and
one we definitely hope to repeat.
