Kind of tried to hold off until Anna was of the age wherein she did not try to put anything and everything into her mouth. But we'd held off long enough in one boy's mind. He was rearing and ready to go! And boy, did it ever take! Birthday morning he opened a big set-- Lego City. Birthday evening he had completed the build. And with very little help from mom or dad. I was actually quite amazed by his abilities. I know it's just legos-- but seriously, the kids has skills! And herein lies the reason behind this post. Just another example to help illustrate the fact that our little Dane is so very independent and focused. When he wants to accomplish something, by gosh, he'll accomplish it. Just very very patient and willing to put in whatever it takes. Love that about him. And on a side note, I'm excited that he's interested in something new and that it appears to bring him great satisfaction and happiness!
