DisneyLand

This year for Christmas, Grandma and Grandpa gave us such a wonderful gift-- Disneyland passes!  And boy, have they come in handy! We’ve enjoyed every month... making that drive to Orange County (which really wasn’t that bad of a drive) and then spending the day waltzing around the happiest place on earth.  It’s been such a highlight of our year-- really, the gift that keeps on giving!

It’s been wonderful to have Blake along with us and of course, it’s been so fantastic to have Grandma there as well.  Disney with four small children requires AT LEAST three adults... ha!  But really, it has been so nice to meet Grandma there and to divide and conquer... making the experience fun for everyone.  Evelyn to race off to Splash Mountain, Indiana Jones, California Screamer and Tower of Terror.  Dane wanting nothing at all to do with any of these rides, (although we did get both boys on Tower of Terror one time.) Dane's preferred Pirates of the Carribean, Cars Land, Autotopia, Toys Story Mania and Astro Blasters.  And Grant has been our little dare-devil loving Splash Mountain and Haunted Mansion.  He’s pretty much good to go for any ride we head for, although his favorite has been the jelly fish and Little Mermaid ride.

And Anna has been about as good a little one year old as one could possibly hope for. She certainly gets tired at times, but she is so good to mostly stay in her stroller and then keep close in the lines. Parades (much to Blake’s dismay) have been a highlight for me, as well as going off alone with any one of my children to ride together.  Those quiet times, one on one are pretty rare and pretty special.  I’ve loved Disneyland as much as the kids, I dare say!
