Favorite Things: babies! princesses! doggies! binkies! fruit snacks! just to name a few. Anna, you love taking care of little baby dolls… putting them to sleep, feeding them, cuddling them and kissing them. You love watching “Frozen” and singing along, of course. You love “Sophia the First” and pretty much anything princess will catch your eye and attention. You love getting dressed in the morning and always twirl around and smile so big after changing into a fresh new outfit. You love getting your hair styled and never move so much as an inch while I comb and spray. You love to sing, you love to dance, you adore music more than any of my children. You will run from any corner of the house just to be near a music source when you hear it. You love other people and are so social. You particularly love your siblings— each one— and your favorite activity of all time is just hanging out on the trampoline with the gang. You are thrilled when the kids’ friends come over— you know everyone’s name and you greet them with a smile. You love to read books and pretend talk on the phone. You love to eat and are such a great, healthy eater. Your favorite food is definitely fruit, cheese, peanut butter, and treats of all kinds. You always love gum….much to my dismay. You love to wear sunglasses and get into my make up drawer. You love to sit in a booster rather than a highchair! You love watching soccer games and practicing somersaults with big sis. Your favorite in the world is Daddy. You run like the wind when you hear the garage door open…. screaming all the way, “Dada! Dada!”
Ways you have grown: I can hardly believe it’s been two years since you became such a joyful part of our family, Anna. You have grown so much and are so mature for your age. You rarely cause us a lick of trouble and we find you to be such a ray of sunshine. You bring happiness to each one of us! You are an excellent sleeper— you mostly sleep soundly through the night and you take one big nap per day. You are speaking so much— in partial sentences— and you say new words every day. You always say, “please, mama” and “thank you mama”. You always blow a kiss when you are grateful or when you are saying goodbye. You get along with everyone and treat other children, young and older than you with respect and tenderness. You laugh all the time; you sing all the time; you smile all the time and are rarely grumpy. A few things that make you upset are: having to actually get out of the car when we arrive home. For some reason, you really like to hang out in the backseat…. you typically throw a little tantrum when I force you to come inside. You also get upset when you are not allowed a fruit snack or piece of gum. You really REALLY dislike getting in your pajamas at the end of the day; I think in part because you love your little outfits, but in other part because it signifies bedtime. Because you go to bed earlier than the others, you are not a fan of bedtime.
You are now in nursery! You love it and are so good! You never throw a fuss, after the first few months— you enjoy playing with the other kids and leaders. You are so easy to take out and about… you never run away or try to get out of the cart. You are so mellow and easy going; flexible and content.
Memories: This year for Christmas, you received a scooter and you are something else on that thing! You can scoot around crazy fast! It’s pretty cute to watch. You love going to the beach and dancing in the waves…. as long as you are holding Daddy’s hand. You love kicking the soccer ball back and forth and coloring in your color books. This year you have traveled to Seattle and Tucson. You have visited Disneyland and SeaWorld. You enjoy the park and swimming pool…. you are cautious, but also very coordinated as you climb and swim around. You love the swings more than anything. You love the morning time when it is just you and Grant at home and the rest at school. You are quite the pals and get along very well. You really are such an amazing little girl and we count you as one of the greatest blessings Heavenly Father could ever give us.
