October Happenings

A few random thoughts and happenings for the month of October:

Anna's hair is growing!  And becoming super duper crazy.  Some in the family believe her to resemble Albert Einstein.

She continues to be the apple of everyone's eye.  Dane introduced her to playdoh and she is now a fan for sure.

Anna absolutely adored the poem "Five Little Pumpkins"  and we made these to go along with the chant.  Seriously, she is the cutest!  I see potty training in her very near future.

A very sad event.... our dear friend (and Ev's voice teacher) (and my first counselor in primary) Jessica moved away this month-- boo!!  We honored her with a fun little party at California Pizza Kitchen.  It's only been a month but we miss her like crazy!

Celebrated little Paige's birthday at the park

Talked about "Negative Nancy" in the kids' classrooms this month.  Hah! I'm kind of proud of this drawing I did.

Celebrated our cutest little friend and Grant's future wife--Elizabeth Doud's birthday

Enjoyed a super fun night out with friends- playing games, eating and celebrating Brandy's birthday!

Spent Conference weekend up at Grandma and Grandpa's house.... taking family pictures, eating pancakes, playing Ooga Booga, laughing with Aunt Stacy about old photos, and trying to watch Conference!  With four children, it ain't easy!

And deciding that my life is too crazy, so attempting to cut back on social.  Laughing over this text my sister sent me after having explained the situation:
