A few fun pictures from our Christmas Eve brunch which was Buddy the Elf themed- per the kids request. This is becoming a tradition to invite friends over, pick out a Christmas movie theme- and then get to work preparing it all. The kids LOVE helping with the decor and party favors and coming up with the menu. In fact, this party was almost all Evelyn's idea! She thought of a pasta bar, and using cute paper chains like Buddy does. We had fun little quotes and elf hats! A santa's workshop out back for Christmas crafts and a candy station to include all of the four food groups--according to buddy- haha! It was a super fun afternoon.... highlights included our Christmas photo booth, and dressing the kids up as elves! And then of course, Melanie's yummy Christmas cookies for dessert. Loved sharing Christmas Eve with friends. After cleaning up, we enjoyed a nice soak in the hot tub, watching The Santa Claus and unwrapping our Christmas bags from Grammy and Papa-- a beloved Christmas tradition. We watched the Nativity and read the Bible story of Jesus Christ's birth... it was a wonderful day and so grateful it was on a Sunday so we could attend church first thing in the morning as well! Happy times.
