We had a great fourth of July. We went to a BBQ at the neighbors and then watched the fireworks from our roof. It was great because we could see the New Jersey firework show, the downtown Manhattan show and the mid-town show, all without leaving our apartment! Beautiful.
Nancy had bought cute little outfits for the kiddos... Dane's outfit was army-themed and so I couldn't help but think of Uncle Troy (Blake's little brother). He is serving in the military and will leave for Iraq again in a couple of months. We are so proud of him and his service to our country. He is very brave and strong and never complains. I just wanted to write my very deep appreciation to him and to all of the men and women serving in the military. They are always in our thoughts and prayers.
