“mom, is it Spring yet?”
I’m so excited that March is here! We only have a few more weeks of winter to go.
It’s been a long few months and our little family is eager to be outdoors again.
Living in such tight quarters makes the cold weather more pronounced, as we are
always in the same room… the ONLY room we have in our apartment!
Dane naps upstairs in the bedroom; Evy and I find ways to keep one another
entertained throughout the days.
But despite all of this, in my heart I really do consider this time precious.
I know that children grow quickly and soon Evelyn won’t be at
home with me all day. Even in just a few short months, we’ll be out and
about so much; the long blocks of time we have been spending together,
just she and I, will not be so readily available.
So, although our family longs for spring, the winter is really not so bad.
In fact, I caught some pretty funny footage of my two little ones making due
indoors. In the clip, Evy is definitely having fun... not so sure about Dane!
