We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! Andy and Charis flew out from Georgia to visit us and boy, were they good sports!! Maybe you'll notice by looking closely at these pictures... our kids did not fair well! They were a little sick throughout the weekend and so we were not able to be as flexible as we would have liked to have been. But regardless, it was so much fun to spend time with these dear friends of ours. Blake and Andy have been friends since junior high- and then they roomed together freshmen year at BYU. Of course, Blake and I take FULL credit for the marriage of Andy to his beautiful Charis. We begged and pleaded Andy to move out to Seattle and attend UW for his PHD program. (Blake was at UW for dental school at the time). We promised Andy that he would find his wife and that we would take good care of him while he attended school near us.
Well, Andy started his program, met Charis, and the rest is history.
We love these guys and are so grateful for the fun visit!!
