Today was Evelyn’s first day of pre-k. I feel like the New York City school system is very intense. Three to four year-olds begin a pre-k program that is full day every day in most districts. Then off to kindergarten as a four to five-year-old (again full day!)
I was lucky enough to find a pre-K program that is half day (8:30 to 11am.) And when I say lucky, I really mean this! It has been such a relief as I certainly didn’t want to send her to school all day long at her young age. Evy has been so excited for this day to be here. It was fun to get her up and ready…she looked so cute!
