I've been so busy since starting my photography classes in September. In some ways it's made me sad---all of my free time is spent reading, writing, or taking photographs! But in other ways, I've been glad to push myself into learning new things and growing in a hobby I enjoy. I haven't had the time to watch TV much, or browse blogs (which I am heartbroken over!!)
But, I knew when the semester started, that I had to buckle down and let some of these extracurricular activities go, less I become a terrible mother and wife!
That being said, I was laughing tonight at an assignment I just finished for my photoshop course. This past week we learned how to layer photo collages, and were assigned to create some type of abstract collage, using the techniques we'd explored over the past week. I am not very good at this type of thing, but luckily, I'm not a perfectionist (at least not as an artist) and so here is my best effort.
Oh- and don't worry, I'm fully aware that this image is incredibly cheesy. But, it does make me smile.
