Dane and I have the mornings to ourselves now- with Evelyn at preschool. He is SO good... such an easy kid to take out. We go on walks every morning- either to run errands, or just to get out and go to the park. And I love that time we have together. He is thrilled to see all of the big buses, trucks, and police cars that zoom by. He looks up excitedly as the planes fly by overhead. The noises he makes as these vehicles drive by....they are the most noises he makes in the entire day. He yelps and claps-- it's very cute. But his all time favorite is the subway. All over Brooklyn you can hear the subway train moving along.... through the grates on street level. Dane is so happy when I let him stand on the grate and look in. He loves it. And even happier on Tuesdays when we ride the train together to playgroup. Without Evelyn along, I'm less stressed out on the train, and we have a very enjoyable ride together. So, I guess it's no mystery what this little guy has on his Christmas wish list.... planes, trains, and automobiles! It's fun to raise a boy.
