Our Valentine tulips are beautiful! Every year Blake’s father sends Evelyn and I flowers for Valentine’s Day. It’s so sweet and this year Evelyn was more excited than ever. The girl adores flowers- and I really mean this! The other evening she discovered that a contestant on American Idol had the name of Rose. She almost fell out of her seat.
“Mom! Is her name really Rose???? Can you really have the name Rose????”
After explaining that, yes, you indeed could be named Rose. She begged me for the rest of the evening to allow her to change her name to Rose. She just loves roses, tulips, flowers of any kind. She even asked if she could take one of the tulips to bed with her.
