Princeton, NJ is a gorgeous place to visit. Last weekend, we traveled out with our neighbors for our annual apple picking adventure.
Sadly, we were so wrapped up in the pumpkin patch and farm activities, we didn’t make it to the apple orchard around the corner before closing! But it was a fun and full day despite this fact, and we will maybe try again next weekend (unless of course our obsessed daughter forgets about it before then, and then we’ll skip it altogether.) But alas, she is like her mother… once she has an idea in mind, she finds it hard to let go!
It was a beautiful day- the drive out was gorgeous with all of the amazing fall foliage to view. Eating caramel apples, finding the perfect pumpkin, Petting farm animals, hayrides, apple cider donuts, and spending time with good friends made for the perfect day.
On the drive back home, Blake and I talked about how much we will miss Autumn on the east coast . And we also talked about how much we will miss the wonderful friends we have made out here. No one has family nearby and so friends here in Brooklyn are really something--- they are like family to us.
