It’s been so sweet lately to watch Dane and his little friend Ellie together. They really are best of friends. I’m pretty certain that if it were up to them, they’d spend every single minute together. And I know this because at various times throughout the day, Dane will point to the ceiling (Ellie lives above us) ---his own special way of asking for his friend. When the two of them are together, they are in their own little world and rarely do they need any adult interaction. It’s a pretty awesome situation for Kristina (Ellie’s mom) and I. Especially in the winter when there is the tendency for boredom and cabin fever. We are so lucky to have such great little friends for the kids surrounding us on every side in our apartment building.
