It was so fun to attend this special Brooklyn party for Mara and Danny on the roof—with the sparkling city in the background. Food was delicious, music was amazing—some of our friends are in a band and they really are a talent. So fun to listen to! It was kind of magical and I had tears in my eyes a few times thinking about how much I’ve grown to love this city and love these people in this city. It’s a fun adventure to move across the country, but at the same time, it can also be a little heart breaking as you know you may not be able to visit as easily as you’d like. I’m sorry to get so sappy here, but I’m in a sentimental mood. And there are probably going to be many similar posts to come as we wind down our last week or so in Brooklyn!
View of Manhattan from Mara's roof-- we live in the same building, but one unit over!
