Favorite things:  Anna, you are such a pleasant baby! You love everything about life and rarely are you discontent.  You love to sit up and play with toys, you love to bounce in your bouncy swing upstairs, you love your exersaucer, you love being carried around in the ergo.  You enjoy being very close to your mom! You love Evelyn and view her as a second mom—always giving her big kisses whenever you see her.  You love being outside and don’t mind sitting in the car.  You enjoy nursing, sleeping and take very long naps when allowed.  Problem is, you are always being awoken so that we can go pick up the kids from something or other!!  You love being tickled and you have the most darling little laugh on earth! You smile non-stop! You truly could not be more happy!  You are without a doubt, the joy of our lives and each of your family members can hardly wait for their “turn” with you!  You are affectionate and peaceful.

Ways you’ve grown:  You are now sitting up! Wow… that makes such a difference, I can hardly believe it!  I rarely use the car seat stroller anymore, because these days you enjoy being able to sit up straight and see the world around you.  I always bring a blanket and a few toys because you are very into your toys! You love to sit and play…. I’d say that is your favorite thing to do right now.  You just had a check up a few weeks ago and weighed 14.5 pounds—25% for weight, 50^th% for height.  You are just barely starting to get the hang of solid foods.  So far you’ve enjoyed oatmeal, peaches, bananas, pumpkin, apples, and green beans.  You are still pushing the food out a little, but mostly able to swallow and it seems like you are enjoying the whole process—looking at others while they eat, very interested in eating in general.  You’ve had a hard month sleep-wise as you came down with a terrible cold for the past few weeks.  It’s made sleeping a bear for you!  But thankfully you are now starting to sleep better and soon we hope to sleep train you as now you are waking at 2am and 6am.  It would be nice to have you sleep through the night one of these days soon!  You are such a smiley and curious little girl.  You are thoroughly entertained when your siblings are around and you are perfectly content to sit and watch their comings and goings.  I can tell even from this young age that you will be a very social child! 

Favorite Memories:  This month was Halloween and it was so fun to dress you up as a little pea in a pod.  You were beyond adorable! And such a trooper staying out late to trick or treat with your brothers and sister!  You were very sick this month, and it was hard to see you unhappy!  You had trouble breathing and a terrible cough, which made sleeping a challenge.  Poor little thing!  Aunt Jamie and cousin Kate came to visit this month and we had such a fun time going to the pumpkin patch and parks. As you can now sit up, you’ve enjoyed sitting on a blanket during all the soccer games this month.  Both Evy and Dane play and you are always very fascinated on the sidelines! In fact, your favorite thing to do is hug the spare soccer ball and “try to eat it” as Grant would say! You are truly always happy and full of life.  You continue to be an affectionate and darling little girl whom we adore.
