The next day, the kids were in heaven at all of the wonderful surprises Grandma had scattered about the house. Under the tree, in the treasure box, even in cabinets... toys and surprises galore! We had such a blast playing Minute to Win it games, listening to Evelyn sing and then Christmas caroling and ding dong ditching-- a very favorite of my kiddos! Really a wonderful visit.
On our last day, we traveled up to Palos Verdes to visit with our wonderful relatives. We ate a yummy Mexican feast and then traveled to Betty Jean and Dick's for dessert, bingo, family feud, not to mention fantastic company. On the way home to San Diego, kids fast asleep in the back seat, Blake and I marveled at our many blessings and our gratitude for our children and family.
