Instagram Update

Our family received Disneyland passes from Grandma and Grandpa this year for Christmas.  We've enjoyed our monthly trips to the happiest place on earth!

As much as Anna enjoys the company of her brothers and sis, she also very much enjoys the "alone" time in the afternoon whilst everyone's at school.  She is very independent and loves to play with toys!

Evelyn is truly like a little mama to little Anna.  Anna adores her and Ev is the biggest helper ever!  I am so grateful for my little mother's helper-- it's a life saver!

Some cute pictures of our fun little outing to celebrate Evelyn's birthday-- first Disney on Ice experience-- we loved it!!

Cute baby in her valentine's day garb

Had so much fun at our super bowl party at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  We also celebrated Grandpa and Dane's birthdays.

He wants soooooo badly to be a big kid.  Truly, his goal in life is to do EVERYTHING big bro and sis do.  It's cute and heartbreaking all at the same time!!!!  I've realized that creating "homework" for him is a huge hit.  Every morning before preschool we do some type of learning activity which he entitles homework.  He will choose this activity over almost anything else;  TV, throwing the ball, playing in his room, ect.  Such a sweet little guy

Evelyn is a STAR in the gymnastics scene.  She has taken off like a rocket since she started up this winter. Within a few months, the child went from cartwheels curriculum to round offs, then to kips and now aerials.  She was invited to be on the competitive team even! To which Blake and I promptly declined.  We are thrilled she loves it, but we'd like her to have time for other activities.  3 to 4 nights a week of 2 hour practices seems a little, uh, crazy to me!?

Dane is very well liked by the gals at school.  Who can blame them?? With such a handsome little face and the cutest personality to match!  We found this note in with his stack of valentines.  Charlize is one smart cookie-- flattery will get you everywhere and this was quite the compliment in Dane's mind.

Enjoying lunch at Dane's school.  I post this to remind me of how horrifically guilty Dane makes me feel for not volunteering at his school!!!  He wants me to be there so badly, but I'm not able to bring any siblings in and so it's just so difficult to make it happen.  But I've promised him that next year I WILL volunteer more frequently.

She's pretty much the best baby on earth... that's all I'm going to say about that.

SOOOOO into origami STILL.  Her favorite pastime is creating.

Standing at 9-10 months and pretty happy about that

Dane played both soccer and t-ball this spring season.  Probably won't do that again, but he loved having two games every weekend!  Dane is quite the little athlete and we all LOVE to watch him play- especially soccer.  He's really amazing and I'm not biased in the least!

book corners-- Evie's sunday creation

My orthodontist... about to put braces on me!!  Don't worry, they are the removable type.  His invention in the research and development stage!

so fun to have Grammy come to visit this march.  She spoiled the kids with all sorts of fun.... like baking cupcakes, making leprachaun pudding, and playing handball for hours in the garage.

a FAVorite picture.  Does this look like a fiasco? Well it is!!!!

Anna sure enjoys swimming... especially with her entourage.

Evelyn is always up for an art project.  Here she is decorating easter eggs with washi tape.

couldn't be a cuter picture.  Easter egg hunting was fun this year with my little bean.

I spent a good deal of time and energy coordinating 6 people's easter outfits.  Only to find that only 3 people would make it to church!!!  Two littles were sick, darn it.

Easter Sunday

oh yeah,  you better believe we celebrated April Fool's.  salt on toothbrush?  always a winner

along with frozen milk, tipping water, and pennies glued to the cement

My attempt to get the kids to listen to conference-- I guess candy bribes only work for about 10 minutes.

Marston Orthodontics sponsored the grizzly street scene-- great idea to have a photo booth!

Evelyn was absolutely AMAZING as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.  So proud of my little actress!!
Out to Hodads to celebrate afterwards

Blake turned 36 and of course we celebrated with strawberry waffles!

Teacher Appreciation Week, also known as week from heck!!!  A friend of mine (Henrike) and I put together most of the goodies for Dane's teacher- Mrs. Phaneuf.

Beach day at Del Mar with the Cahoons in town.  Anna LOVED it

So proud of my little soccer star

I'm in the primary presidency at church now... here we have our fun little mother's day gifts

My little cutie wanted bangs, so I obliged.  Turned out great
