Evelyn opted out of soccer this year, to focus on gymnastics and piano. I’m not going to say she is 100 percent thrilled about attending the many soccer games we have on the calendar, but she makes the best of it. Fun that she has a few little friends to sit with on the sidelines. And she is ever-helpful with Anna! And oh! Do we ever need help with that little one year old! She is darling, but a one year old. And a one year old does not enjoy sitting quietly, patiently on the sidelines for hours at a time. That being said, however, she does know the appropriate times to cheer for her brothers! She’s the first to drop everything and clap like crazy when a goal is scored. And she earnestly looks forward to half-time in order to chow down on the snacks she’s come to expect by now. Yes, the girls are a great cheering section for our boys. And the boys are always good to watch and support Evelyn when it comes to her gymnastics. It’s a win-win.
