It was such a treat, really SO much fun to have Grammy and Papa fly in on Halloween this year! The kids could hardly wait for school to end so that they could rush home and begin the fun! After a big bowl of chili, we dressed up and walked the neighborhood. Fun to have Anna out of the stroller and walking along side the big kids. She probably ate about a pound of candy-- needing to open each and every treat as it was handed to her, rather than wait for later like the big kids. Needless to say, she didn’t last long!
But just such a fun night in general for the kids and just as exciting was arriving home afterwards to pass out candy to the bigger kids who came along a little later. Evelyn in particular, really got into this job and begged to stay up past bedtime to continue the duty. It was pretty cute.
