We had a wonderful time hosting a going away party for a couple of dear friends. Both moving to far away places (Kentucky and Utah). As much as we hate to see them go... we certainly enjoyed living it up with so many wonderful friends and yummy food. Seeing as the entire ward was invited, I feared not having enough food, so probably went a little overboard recruiting help from my girlfriends. Needless to say, there was plenty and it was a perfect evening. Biggest hit was our yummy egg nog/ 7-up drink station. Mixing the two in a big cup with ice makes for a delicious creamy soda that is a festive holiday favorite of mine.
We sure will miss our friends, we’ve loved having them as neighbors, but we are thrilled for their new adventures!
