As one might imagine, most kids dislike writing thank you notes, and mine are no exception! So we decided to change it up a bit this year, as the kids wrote out one big thank you (notice Grant has spelled thankyou backwards!) and then I took a picture. We’ll reproduce the pictures and then I’ll have the kids stuff them in the envelopes, write the address and stick the stamp on. I know I’m letting them off the hook a little, but I hope to have a good long discussion with them as they are addressing their envelopes about how greatly blessed they have been this Christmas with so many wonderful gifts from their loved ones. One less power struggle!
