Our cute little ones woke at about 7 and bounded in our room.... very eager to open their Christmas gifts!! Santa had brought Dane and Grant and Anna a scooter! And Evelyn a new leotard and the opportunity to join the Demo team (Hot Shots) at her gymnastics club. All were thrilled and continued to be delighted opening up many gifts from grandparents, and from Blake and I. We enjoyed french toast and bacon for breakfast, we assembled toys (happy note: Evelyn assembles toys better than I do and that has become her main job on Christmas morning the past few years!) We scootered around, put together our gingerbread house that we hadn’t had time for on Christmas Eve. We watched Anna enjoy her new dolls, stroller and play pen. Evelyn loved her shuffle from Grammy and Papa and Frozen songs were heard from every corner of the home throughout the day. Later, we enjoyed dinner with friends and played a fun Candy bar gift exchange. It was truly a beautiful day for our family. Until next year! Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!
