Easter Festivities

We've enjoyed a few fun Easter traditions this month... of course dying eggs and easter crafting are all part of the routine here at the Marston home.  Dane just adores ADORES dying Easter eggs and he would not let me forget it! In fact, last year I made the mistake of only boiling 6 to 8 eggs per child.... not this year! We had a dozen each and that made for some pretty happy campers!  Dane and Grant had fun with circle stamping to create chicks, and constructing a bunny out of marshmallows!  Of course, Ev will have nothing to do with my crafts anymore.  She's moved on to coming up with her own ideas for crafts, which is both sad and happy for me.  I absolutely LOVE a tradition we started last year that Grandma gave us... the Easter Walk.  The kids read scriptures about Jesus and then try to find various items that represent the scripture.  It is fabulous and I always feel the spirit when we read and discuss such sacred topics.

going to town on the crafting supplies... i.e: marshmallows:)

The kids were good enough then to pose for pictures in their new Easter outfits.  Thanks Grammy and Papa for such cute new clothes!  Love this time of year and so happy to celebrate all month- such a joyous event with my children.
