Spring Break

We had a marvelous spring break this year.  I tell you what...I think I finally (and it only took me two years) have the hang of this four-kid routine!!

Having all four kids home for the week was wonderful, relaxing and a true joy.  Sure, I had to change my paradigm a little and realize I wouldn't have any "alone time" to accomplish my to-do list.... but it was worth it to spend that special time with the kids;  swimming at the pool, boogy-boarding at the beach, playing with friends at the park, doing SeaWorld with Grandma and Grandpa, hiking the waterfall trail, watching general conference, enjoying all sorts of playdates.  One day I had 10 kids here all playing happily when Blake arrived home from work... his remark, "don't you need a permit to watch this many kids?"  Haha.  It was fun watching Evelyn and her friends play "spa" with avocado masks and nail polish.  Dane and his friend of course playing soccer and handball. And Grant and his friend playing hot wheels and imagniext.

Yes... I think I am now in a place where I can manage all of my kids without feeling too overwhelmed.  I adore my kids... they are wonderful to have around and it makes my job very easy.

a fun tradition of eating a treat from the topic buckets;  hershey chocolate eggs was the biggest hit by a long shot!
