Kids Sing season has also officially ended! Evelyn enjoyed this spring season more than any other as the kids learned all sorts of fun broadway tunes: Grease, Rent, The King and I, Wicked, Hairspray to name a few. Evelyn's favorite song of the bunch was "For Good" from Wicked. She did a lovely job singing and dancing in the program... it was darling and we were so proud of her. In fact, we've certainly noticed that gymnastics has been less of a passion lately, and singing performance has moved up in its place... we are investigating theatre camps for the summer for our budding star. So proud of Ev's beautiful voice and charismatic stage presence. Other passions as of late are definitely knitting and crocheting, and reading Nancy Drew. Grateful for Activity Days leaders who introduced Evelyn to knitting as a hobby... it's been so fun to see her creations. Sure do love this girl of mine! Love that she is such a great helper and wonderful with Anna and all young children... it definitely makes me proud and happy to see her serve and love so many around her.
