Father's Day 2014

A few pictures to recap our fun day.  Blake woke up to breakfast in bed... carefully created by Dane and Evelyn.  Those two are getting so grown up! They are actually helpful in the kitchen and not a messy distraction as they typically were in the old days- ha!  Dane washed and cut strawberries,  Ev set the tray and cooked the bacon.  Of course we served strawberry waffles!  It's been a tradition for Blake and I since we were dating.

After breakfast, we opened gifts... the kids had designed a little spinner with fun activities for Dad to experience throughout the day.  Back rub by Ev;  nap; Grant to clean up the car;  and Dane's cute idea.... "you just won yourself a side kick".  Seriously, so cute.

Blake gave the boys haircuts and played a little basketball.  We called Papa and Grandpa to wish them a happy day; had dinner and a family night all about the special role of fathers.  It was such a fun day... we are sure grateful for all the wonderful fathers in our life!  We are so blessed by their love, support and examples.

Grandma got the kids these darling shirts to wear for Father's Day-- it was really sweet!
