And when the day finally arrived, it was beyond exciting. So fun to be together as a family-- with Aunt Stacy and Uncle Troy, Grandma and Grandpa. So fun to ride the rides that Dane was too short to ride before... hello Indiana Jones!! To rather quickly get on the new Cars Land Coaster (usually it's a two hour wait). To watch Evie and Aunt Stacy ride Tower of Terror a handful of times. And to watch Anna's eyes open in awe and pleasure at the sight of actual princesses! She absolutely LOVED the Ariel ride, Snow White, pretty much everything in FantasyLand and for sure the day that she was able to meet Cinderella, Belle and Snow White in person! I watched her every dream come true right before my very eyes. Loved every minute of that fun little escapade. A highlight for me was watching Disney's Aladdan-- the live performance! It was so well done- almost like watching a Broadway show!
Disneyland was so much more manageable than I had remembered one and a half years ago. Grant was old enough to walk the entire two days- never complaining of fatigue. Anna was old enough to go without a nap and enjoy the surroundings. It was peaceful and pleasant for the most part. We enjoyed a delicious birthday dinner on our last night at the park. We celebrated Troy, Dane, Herb, Nancy and Anna's birthdays. Also Troy's girlfriend Catie:) Chocolate cupcakes were a huge hit and the perfect ending to the perfect vacation.... at least in my book. Blake probably thinks differently- haha. But I love Disneyland more than I can say. I still remember going to Disneyland as a kid-- with my family. We only went one time.... It was magical. Then right before Blake's mission, he and I went together and again, absolutely magical. Disneyland is the perfect place to feel just plain happy. I'm so glad we live close enough to enjoy on a regular basis. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the most wonderful vacation ever!
It just so happened to be St. Patrick's day
stacy representing on St. Patrick's Day
