Anna's Princess Party

Since Anna's current obsession lies in the repeated watching of Sofia the First;  the repeated play time with  Princesses Jasmine,  Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Elsa, Anna and all other princesses ever known to man.... it was pretty obvious what our theme for her birthday would be this year!  It was so fun to watch Anna get excited in anticipation for her big day.   Though barely three, she is very socially mature and understood absolutely everything about this entire process.  She knew who she wanted to invite: Nora, Elizabeth and Hayley.  And she knew what she wanted to do:  play princesses.  Everyone dressed up and that is just what they did.  Grandma came down to help out for the day (so thankful!) and we enjoyed watching the girls color princess sheets, and butterfly masks, play "Pretty Pretty Princess", and freeze dance, pass the glass slipper, hide the jewel and a number of other games I'd found on pinterest.  Grandma brought down the cutest cupcakes that Anna was so excited about.  It was very low key and a perfect way to celebrate our little princess.  Loved every minute!
