It's always a vacation for me- both physically and emotionally. We had a great time getting Girls' Camp stuff done. We worked on little compliment kits to give the girls at camp, we put together pillow treats for each night at camp. My mom also helped out with the big task of Teacher Appreciation Week-- putting gifts together and organizing that. We cut up all sorts of cute quotes on prayer for my Young Women. I was teaching the lesson on how to make prayer more meaningful that coming Sunday and I thought it would be neat to give them each a little bulletin board with whatever quotes they found helpful to pin up. Kind of like a pinterest board! There are so many good quotes out there! Got the idea from a darling YW website.
On top of all this... we still had time for shopping and talking and spending quality time with the kids. It was a wonderful week and I loved every minute. Evelyn always feels so happy to have Grammy fix her hair in all sorts of interesting ways. Grant loves to bake with Grammy and Dane was thrilled to have Grammy at his Pinewood Derby where he won first place! Such a fun night!!! I love my Mom and so grateful for her and the example she is to me. I don't know how I lucked out to have her as my mom!
