We had such a lovely day celebrating the best dad and husband ever. And by "we" I mean to say, the kids and I, haha! Poor Blake had to work all day at the Rancho Penasquitos Street Fair! But I think he had a decent day as well; his booth was so wonderful and I was extremely proud of him. As I was walking down the street with the kids.... headed to see him, I noticed so many teenagers wearing fun Hawaiian leis. I thought, "gosh, that's clever! Perfect freebie for a teenager; I wish Blake had thought of that!" Well, he had! The leis had come from his booth-- along with a very cool surfing simulator that had a long line and a crowd at all times. It was very successful and I was so happy that the event had turned out so great. Once he arrived home, we had a yummy roast ready with sweet little notes from the kids and a funny poster we had created. Our theme was "Superhero Dad!' He really is. I feel so grateful for all that Blake does to provide for our family and to take care of the kids and I. Couldn't have ever dreamed of a more devoted father for my children and it's fun to celebrate him and all he does for us. Happy Birthday Blake!
Anna's card to Daddy
I found this cute picture in a magazine and ripped it out for his card. It's so true that we've traveled down many different roads these past 16 years and had such an awesome time doing it:)
